'Crust & Ember Pizzeria began with a straightforward dream: to bring authentic Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Davies family in 1985, our pizzeria started as a small, family-run spot with recipes handed down through generations.
Chloe Davies, our founder, learned the craft of pizza-making during her journeys across Italy, apprenticing with master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. Returning to the UK, she sought to recreate the magic of true Italian pizza, using traditional techniques and the finest ingredients.
What started as a modest 12-seat pizzeria has grown into a beloved local staple, yet our commitment to quality and authenticity remains unwavering. We still employ wood-fired oven techniques, prepare dough fresh daily, and source the highest quality ingredients available.
Today, 'Crust & Ember Pizzeria' remains family-owned and operated, with the second generation of the Davies family now leading our passionate team. While we’ve embraced some modern innovations, the essence of our business stays the same: creating delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
